Course Description for Our Star-Spangled Story
Our Star-Spangled Story guides students on a journey through U.S. history, from the native peoples and early European explorers to the 21st century.
Does Exploring Economics cover microeconomics or macroeconomics?
Exploring Economics gives the student an introduction to both microeconomics (how individuals and businesses participate in the economy) and macroeconomics (government policy and national trends).
How long should the writing assignments be?
For our high school courses, two to three pages of typed, double-spaced text (500-750 words) is a good target for most of the writing assignments.
Do you have a Teacher's Edition or lesson plan?
Our courses are designed to be easy for parents and students to use. A focused student in middle school or high school can direct his own study, and the parent can offer as much interaction as needed.
What assigned and alternate literature goes with America the Beautiful?
We chose the ten books to go along with the lessons in America the Beautiful. You can easily replace any of our recommend literature titles without affecting your child's understanding of the history lessons.

Why don't the high school Student Review books have space to write the answers?
We have decided not to provide space in the high school books to write answers for three main reasons.
